LEDO’S Pizza

is a local restaurant conceptual rebrand.

In the rebranding of a pizza place in my hometown, I took their current traditions and taglines and gave them more oomph. By providing more history behind the birthplace of LEDO’S within its new branding, it recognizes the culture of its origin. This is then providing a staple branding moment for this small-town pizza place by embracing the culture that the DMV loves to tie themselves to. For fun, I have included a DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) Slang guide handbook on the back of the menu to provide context to newcomers.

To remain true to the basic principles of Ledo’s Pizza: The Square. The menu is also square. BOOM.

Below you’ll find images of Ledo’s rebranded coasters. Each coaster has at least one definition of the DMV’s (DC, Maryland, Virginia) slang.
